Haiku for Janie's Gift

Haiku FridayGleaming silver dimes
pulled from Janie's piggy bank,
clutched in her warm palm.

One by one she drops,
into the paper wrapped can,
dime on dime. Plink. Plink.

"Some kids have cancer,
and it's bad that they are sick.
I want to help them."
